Fair operating terms for Eilm

Effective 19 July 2026

Accounts

Provide accurate information, protect credentials, and use only roles and content you are authorized to access. We may suspend access needed to contain abuse, security incidents, or legal violations.

Academy responsibility

Academies are responsible for lawful content, instructor authority, learner notices and consent, accessibility, advertised outcomes, support, pricing, tax/invoicing obligations, refund policy, and any accreditation claim.

Payments

The zero-cost MVP records manual/offline payment proof; Eilm does not process or hold card funds. Academy staff must verify the real transfer before approving access. A submitted receipt is not confirmation of payment.

Learning records and certificates

Progress and assessment records reflect activity captured by the service. A certificate verifies the academy-issued Eilm record only and is not government, university, or professional accreditation unless the issuer separately proves that authority.

Acceptable use

Do not attack the service, bypass tenant boundaries, upload malware or unlawful content, impersonate others, scrape private data, spam learners, or use intervention tools without appropriate notice and consent.

Availability and changes

The MVP is provided with reasonable care but without a promise of uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, provider limits, and security changes may affect availability. Material changes will be documented and safe export options provided where reasonably possible.

Liability and disputes

Each party remains responsible for its own unlawful conduct. Any paid academy agreement should define support, service levels, liability limits, governing law, refunds, data processing, and termination before commercial launch.
